Sophie is an multi-disciplinary artist who uses performance, illustration and participation in her practice. Her work explores the fragility of human authority and systems; often through engaging with the absurd. Through humour, fantasy and handmade objects, she pokes holes in cultural norms prescribed under capitalism.

She has performed at Glastonbury Festival (with Shunt), Bestival, Latitude, Wilderness, Battersea Arts Centre and Soho Theatre. As part of Cushion Collective she was a Resident Cabaret Artist at The Roundhouse 2014-15, with whom she also ran a seasonal queer club night at Bethnal Green Working Men's Club.

Since 2016, she has worked in community and therapeutic settings to support people's wellbeing through art-making. Companies she has worked with include Chickenshed Theatre, Studio Upstairs, ActionSpace and Claremont Project. Presently she is a Schools and Families Guide at the Barbican Art Gallery, where she designs and runs creative tours for visiting groups as well as teaching art on a freelance basis. From September she will be undertaking training as Art Psychotherapist at Goldsmiths, University of London.
